John Kelly
John Kelly is a distinguished criminal profiler, psychotherapist, and addiction expert with a significant impact in the field of criminal psychology. In 1992, he made a groundbreaking contribution with his paper, "The Alcohol, Drug, and Serial Killer Connection," where he was the first to propose that serial killing can be viewed as an addiction. His profiling skills have been instrumental in solving over 100 cases, including high-profile investigations such as the Green River Killer, the Molly Bish case, the Atlantic City Murders, the Woodsman of Worcester, and the Golden State Killer.
Kelly's expertise has led him to appear on CBS's "48 Hours" multiple times and participate in various interviews on platforms such as CNN Primetime with Nancy Grace, FOX's "Geraldo at Large," NJ Channel 12, and HLN's "Jane Velez-Mitchell Show." He gained international recognition through his role in the three-season series "Dark Minds" on the Investigation Discovery channel, featuring in 22 episodes.
Beyond his profiling work, Kelly founded S.T.A.L.K., Inc. (System to Apprehend Lethal Killers) and served as the Executive Director of ExtraCare Health Services LLC, which focuses on outpatient mental health and addiction counseling. He is a board-certified forensic examiner and a Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Examiners, as well as a National Certified Addiction Specialist. As an author, he published "Warning Signs - A Guidebook for Parents" and is set to release his second book, "Finding Lazarus."
