Bryn Fôn, a distinguished figure in the Welsh music and entertainment scene, hails from Llanllyfni, Caernarfonshire. His educational journey began at Ysgol Gynradd Llanllyfni and Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle, eventually leading him to pursue studies in physical exercise and environmental studies at the college level. Fôn's artistic career took off in 1977 when he participated in the opera Dic Penderyn. Shortly thereafter, he founded the musical ensemble Crysbas and later, in 1988, Sobin a'r Smaeliaid, further establishing his presence in the industry.

In 1994, Fôn began releasing albums under his own name, and his band, known as Bryn Fôn a'r Band, produced music through their independent label, laBelaBel. A notable highlight of his career came in 1997 when he triumphed in the Cân i Gymru song competition with his entry, "Un Funud Fach."

As his career progressed, Fôn shifted his focus toward theatrical performances, notably adapting and starring in a production of the play Blackbird for Theatr Bara Caws in 2010. Today, he continues to engage audiences across Wales, regularly performing at significant events such as the Royal Welsh Show and the National Eisteddfod of Wales, showcasing his enduring passion for music and the arts.
