Dominique Hannah Jackson, born on December 3, 1991, in Oldham, Greater Manchester, is a talented British actress celebrated for her diverse roles across television. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Becky in the children’s series *Becky and Barnaby Bear*, as well as her character Lauren Valentine in the popular Channel 4 soap opera *Hollyoaks*. Jackson’s acting career took off with an appearance as Joanna Sharpe in the long-running police drama *The Bill* in 2003, and she continued to make her mark with roles such as Roseanne Speedwell in *The New Worst Witch* (2005) and Selena in the beloved children’s show *My Parents Are Aliens* (2006). More recently, she has been seen as Evie Prior in the educational drama *Waterloo Road*.

A graduate of The Radclyffe School in Chadderton, Dominique excelled academically, achieving 9 GCSEs with grades between A* and C. Her stage experience includes a notable role as Molly in the West End production of *Annie*, where she performed alongside the esteemed Paul O’Grady.

Her breakthrough role came as Saffron in the BAFTA-winning series *Buried Treasure*, sharing the screen with the iconic John Thaw. After leaving *Hollyoaks* in August 2010, Jackson has also featured in various shows including *The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy*, *Casualty*, and *Doctors*.
