Tarō Shigaki (志垣 太郎, Shigaki Tarō), born on September 22, 1951, was a prominent Japanese actor and voice actor, whose birth name was 河村 稔. He pursued his education at the Nihon University College of Art and stood at a height of 170 cm, weighing 59 kg. He was married to actress Noriko Shirasaka (白坂 紀子) and was represented by Oscar Promotion.

Shigaki made his acting debut in 1969, taking on the lead role in the television series "Star of the Giants" (巨人の星, Kyojin no Hoshi). Throughout his career, he starred in various notable productions, including the 1974 Fuji TV series "The Blue Mountains" (青い山脈, Aoi sanmyaku), as well as "Akantare" (あかんたれ), "Like an Iceberg" (氷山のごとく, Hyōzan nogotoku), and "Horror of the Wolf" (狼の紋章, Ōkami no monshō). In addition to his acting roles, he also contributed to gourmet and travel programs as a reporter.
